How to Get there:

To drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh:
To drive from Glasgow on the M8 follow the signs for the Airport (M898/A898), cross the Erskine Bridge, follow signs for Loch Lomond (A82). About one hour's drive from the airport, at Tarbet, take the A83 (signs for Campbeltown/Inveraray). Drive through Inveraray, continuing on the A83, follow signs for Lochgilphead and Campbeltown. Just past Lochgilphead, turn right towards Oban on the A816. Drive through the village of Kilmartin. One mile north of Kilmartin, at the top of a small loch, turn right into the B840 towards Ford village. At Ford village follow the slight left turn of the road (the roads turns sharp to the right - but you must drive straight on through the village). Carry on for 2.2 miles on the North side of Loch Awe and go over two small bridges. On the second bridge, as the road swings round a sharp bend, turn left up a track (on the right hand side of the river). Follow the track for about 500 metres, up past two white cottages, to the ecoYoga Centre.
If you get lost, ask for Inverliever Lodge.
Note that the A83 takes you across the wonderfully named Rest and Be Thankful pass, which can be susceptible to landslips after heavy rainfall. Check road conditions at BBC Travel News Scotland. Note also that mobile phone signals may be patchy.

From Edinburgh there is also a more scenic route to drive via Stirling, Crianlarich, Tyndrum – then follow Oban road and turn left towards Cladich. Take the South Loch Awe road to Village of Ford and follow instructions above.

Coming by public transport:

From Glasgow catch a bus to Lochgilphead and phone us to be picked up there (by arrangement - cost £15 each way. Please pay the driver). There are about five buses a day from Glasgow and the journey takes 2 hours 30 minutes. See: www.citylink.co.uk to book a bus ticket or check times.
Taking the bus is perhaps the best way to enjoy the magnificent Scottish scenery.
